LAHORE: A fire that erupted at the LDA plaza situated on Lahore’s Edgerton road trapped several persons inside the building, reported Express News on Thursday.
A man reportedly fell from the seventh floor of the 13-story building while escaping the fire. Several people remain trapped in the building as the fire spreads and gathers intensity. Helicopters are in the area to assist those trapped in the building.
Rescue work is underway at the site of the fire and five fire trucks are being used to extinguish the fire.
Due to the intensity of the fire and safety of those trapped inside, a a request for more fire trucks to be dispatched has also been made.
