LAHORE:
A consumer court on Friday issued notice to a tailor for May 28 in a suit seeking Rs50,000 in damages for ruining the petitioner’s clothes.
Petitioner Ghulam Hussain contended that his family had given some clothes to Zulfiqar Ali for stitching. He said when he received the clothes there were paint stains on them.
He said he complained but Ali refused to pay any compensation or replace the clothes with new ones.
Hussain prayed the court to direct Ali to pay Rs50,000 as damages. Zulfiqar Ali did not take the phone call from The Express Tribune.
