Trespass and robbery: 20 motorcycles, cell phones, millions of rupees stolen

FAISALABAD: Citizens were deprived of at least 20 motorcycles, more than 40 mobile phones, gold jewellery, cash and other valuables worth millions of rupees in 32 reported incidents on Saturday and Sunday.

On Sunday, police said motorcycles were snatched from Ghulam Rasool in Chak 57-GB, Ghulam Sarwar in Tandlianwala, Muzaffar Shah in Rabbani Colony, Waqar Ali in Civil Quarters, Umar Farooq in Siddiqabad, Furqan in Islamia Park and Yasir in Kabootranwala Chowk.

The robbers also snatched a tractor-trolley from Ghulam Shabbir in Chak 231-GB. Arshad Nabi was deprived of his mobile phone and cash in Chak 66-JB.

On Saturday, motorbikes were snatched from Kamran in Rabbani Colony, Zaeem in Sir Syed Town, Abdul Basit in Sant Pura, Talha Saleem near Hashmi Medicare, Tahir Javaid in Christian Town, Muhammad Shehbaz near Haq Bahoo Chowk, Muhammad Imran in Asim Town, Javaid Iqbal near Jameel Chowk, Raja Shehzad in Ghulam Muhammadabad’s A-block, Ali Hasan near Young Welfare Hospital, Sohail Raza near Agriculture University, Ateequr Rehman in Mughal Pura and Ismatullah in Haji Abad.

Robbers took away valuable items, cash and jewellery from Shahid Raza’s house in Sardar Colony, Muhammad Asif’s house in Gobendpura, Muhammad Nasir’s house in Chak 511-GB, Muhammad Farooq’s house in Guru Nanakpura, Hafiz Rizwan’s house in Eden Garden, Ayub Malik’s house in Eden Garden, Muhammad Rashid’s house in Chak 106-GB, Muhammad Asif’s house in G-Ground and Muhammad Sajid’s house in Green Town.
