The government has ordered districts administrations to conduct a survey of the damage caused to agricultural land, houses and roads due to floods.
The district administrations were also ordered on Wednesday to monitor rivers and canals.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has set up a sub-office at Jampur to provide edibles and essential commodities to flood-affected people. The government directed district administrations to set up tent villages and provide medical care and vaccines against diseases.
The government will provide seeds and fertilisers to farmers of Jampur whose crops have been destroyed by flood water.
Monsoon rains have led to massive floods across the country, resulting in the death of at least 84 people.
