“Today we have to decide whether we want to live in peace or face the threat of violence everyday” MNA Hamza Shahbaz said at the intermediate examination prize distribution ceremony.
Shahbaz said that his thoughts and prayers were with the families of the victims of the twin bombings on Sunday that left over 140 people injured and 78 dead.
“We will bring peace to this land,” he said.
“I pray that no one goes through the horror which hundreds of families suffered yesterday,” he said.
Shahbaz said the law and order situation in Karachi was also a matter of concern.
“We will not cave to political pressures. Peace will prevail in Karachi,” he said.
About energy crisis, he said the government was resolved to end it as soon as possible.
He said the government was planning another youth festival where young people could compete to set new records.
