Property dispute: Man seeks case against son for fraud

LAHORE: 

An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday sought comments from Misrishah station house officer in a petition seeking a case against a man accused of fraudulently transferring property in his name.

Petitioner Muhammad Anwar, 71, told the court that his son Arsalan had told him he had purchased a plot and wanted to register it in his name. He said Arsalan took his signatures and thumb impression on blank papers.

He said after a few days he asked Arsalan to show him the plot. He said Arsalan avoided the subject but his friend Adil revealed that he had used the signatures to transfer ownership of his one-kanal plot in his name and had lied about purchasing his property. Anwar said he had gone to the police to register a complaint but the SHO take did not him seriously. He asked the court to direct the SHO to register a case against his son for transferring property in his name through fraudulent means.
