Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Friday the volume of trade between South Korea and Pakistan should increase. He said exchange of trade delegations between the two countries could play an important role in this regard.
He was talking to South Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Song Jong-hwan who called on him.
The chief minister said South Korea had made rapid progress and Pakistan wanted to benefit from Korean expertise and experience.
He said Pakistan wanted to establish strong economic and trade relations with Korea and would welcome its cooperation for development of energy resources, infrastructure and other sectors.
He said investments by Korean companies would be welcome.
The chief minister said Quaid-i-Azam Solar Park was being established over a large area in Bahawalpur.
He said a plan for an apparel park near the motorway was also being planned.
