Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) Punjab chapter president Ejaz Chaudhry said on Saturday the party would celebrate its 18th foundation day on April 25.
He told a press conference a protest movement would be launched in Islamabad on April 25 against what he called rigging in May 11 elections.
He said the Jamaat-e-Islami, Awami Muslim League and Awami Tehreek would also take part in the movement. He said PTI chief Imran Khan would lead the movement, to be launched from D Chowk. Chaudhry said the PTI would also arrange protest demonstrations in other districts on April 25.
He asked former chief election commissioner Fakharuddin Ibrahim to “disclose the truth and tell the nation how elections had been rigged”.
He said a cheaper dollar had only benefited the rich. He called the Protection of Pakistan Ordinance a “black law”.
