LAHORE:

The Punjab Education Foundation on Wednesday launched an interactive classroom technology pilot project in 25 schools in Lahore.

An MOU in this regard was signed by PEF Director Bushra Saeed Khan and CEO of Social Engineering Consultants Sonia Saleem.

The SEC will provide free computerised electronic boards and multimedia projectors to schools to teach students through IT-based equipment. PEF MD Aneela Salman said introduction of the modern classroom technology was part of PEF’s commitment to arrange best possible education.

She said a multipurpose classroom would ensure active engagement of students and teachers.

She said after the completion of the one-year pilot project, the possibility of arranging soft loans for interested partner schools to introduce the technology would also be considered.
