Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) will take out rallies in various districts across the Punjab on Sunday (today) to show solidarity with Pakistan Army.
The PML-Q Punjab information secretary said under instructions from party president Chaudhary Shujat Hussain, party activists would hold demonstrations to show their support for Pakistan Army.
In Lahore, a rally will be taken out from PML-Q House at 1pm. It will be led by Senator Kamil Ali Agha and Mian Muhammad Munir. It will end at the Lahore Press Club.
In Rawalpindi, a demonstration will be staged in front of Rawalpindi Press Club at 11am. It will be led by former provincial law minister Muhammad Basharat Raja.
In Faisalabad, a rally will be taken out from Hilal-i-Ahmar office at 4pm. It will be led by former opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Chaudhary Zaheeruddin Khan. It will end in front of the Faisalabad Press Club.
In Gujrat, a rally will be taken out from Zahoor Elahi Palace at 11am. It will be led by former district nazim Shafaat Hussain and former provincial education minister Mian Imran Masood. It will end at Kutchery Chowk.
In Jhelum, a demonstration will be staged at 11.30am in front of the District Press Club. It will be led by former district nazim Chaudhary Farrukh Altaf.
In Sargodha, a rally will be taken out at 10am from Jinnah Hall Company Bagh. It will be led by MPA Aamer Sultan Cheema. It will end in front of the District Press Club.
In Gujranwala, a rally will be taken out at 11am. It will be led by party’s district president Zafarullah Cheema, former minister Sohail Zafar Cheema and former MPA Nasir Cheema. It will start from the press club and end at GT Road.
In Sheikhupura, a rally will be taken out at 9.30am from Manj House under the leadership of former MNA Khurrum Munawwar Manj and will terminate in front of the district press club. In Bahawalpur, a rally will be taken out at 9.30am from Cheema House under the leadership of MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema. It will end at Fawara Chowk
In Multan, a rally will be taken out at 10am from Chowk Nawan Shehr under the leadership of District President Mushtaq Ahmad Ansari. It will terminate in front of the Press Club.
