Street crime: 16 bikes, cash snatched in 33 robberies

FAISALABAD: 

Robbers snatched cash, jewellery, mobile phones, 16 motorcycles and other valuables in 33 robberies in Faisalabad and its suburbs on Monday-Tuesday.

Mobile phones and gold jewellery were taken in three incidents from Manzoor near Chak 588-GB, from Mujahid at Satiana Road and from Saleem in Chak 100-RB.

The robbers snatched an ambulance from Imran from Aminpur Road and deprived Faqeer Hussain of Rs1.1 million near Bhaiwala.

The robbers snatched motorcycles, mobile phones and cash from Umar Hayat in Gulberg, from Ejaz near Jaranwala Water Works, from Abdur Rauf in Sheikh Colony, from Manzoor in Mansoorabad, from Yaqoob at Canal Road, from Abdur Rehman in Millat Town, from Mehboob near Koh-i-Noor, from Abid in Kaleem Shaheed Colony, from Ghulam Mustafa near Hajveri Town, from Imran near Batala Colony, from Rashid near Kutchery Bazaar, from Arshad near Gobindpura, from Shahid at Chak Jhumra Road, from Tahir near D-Ground, from Shafiq near Hajiabad, from Rashid near Chak No 74-RB, and from Nadeem near Khurarianwala.

Unidentified gunmen also snatched a car from Shehreyar near Dhuddiwala and an SUV from Qaisar Idrees near Sitara Mall.
