BAHAWALPUR: Police finalised arrangements on Sunday for providing protection to 365 Eidul Azha congregations in the district.
According to district police, seven DSPs, 21 inspectors, 201 sub inspectors and assistant sub inspectors and 629 constables will be deployed at the areas. Ten women constables and 100 reserve force personnel will also be deployed on security.
DPO Rahim Yar Khan Sohail Zafar Chattha directed officials to monitor the Eid prayers using CCTV cameras. Special Branch personnel will review the security at the places. The cameras have been installed.
Snipers will be deployed at sensitive Eidgahs.
