LAHORE: Making inroads into the southern Punjab, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) welcomed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Sikandar Bosan and the sons of former president Farooq Leghari – Jamal Leghari and Owais Leghari – into the party, Express News reported on Friday.
Bosan has joined PML-N along with many of his associates.
The leaders are expected to make a formal announcement about their move in a press conference today.
Earlier, former Muslim League-Q MPA from Bahawalpur, Malik Muhammad Khalid Waran, announced on March 20 his decision to join the PML-N.
The leaders who have recently joined the Nawaz League are former Pakistan Peoples Party leader Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani, PML-Q MNA Sheikh Waqas Akram, Suba Hazara Tehrik (SHT) chief Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, PPP leader Dost Mohammad Khan and former diplomat B A Malik.
