Justice Mansoor Ali Shah of the Lahore High Court disposed former federal minister Faisal Saleh Hayat’s petition for direction to the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education to issue him a duplicate matriculation certificate.
The lawyer for BISE submitted on Friday that they would issue Hayat a certificate once he filed an affidavit which is required when a certificate is issued for the third time. He said Hayat had already gotten a duplicate previously and said he had lost it. The judge disposed of the petition asking the petitioner to approach the BISE.
Hayat had filed a petition saying that he had lost his original certificate of secondary education and requested the board to issue him a copy. He said the board had not issued the certificate even though considerable time had passed.
