LAHORE: All educational institutions in Punjab and Sindh will remain closed from May 8 to May 13, Express News reported on Monday.
The six-day long holiday was announced due to the upcoming elections.
On May 11, Pakistan will vote for a new government in the centre and the four provinces.
Tough security measures have been implemented across the country to facilitate free and fair elections.
Many political parties have come under terror attacks since the election date was announced, with leaders blaming terrorists of targeting only the left-wing parties.
