FAISALABAD:
The district coordination officer has been appointed as the focal person for the Faisalabad Solid Waste Management Company (FSWMC) which was established to improve sanitation conditions of the city. The first meeting of the FSWMC was held on Saturday.
MNA Abid Sher Ali said Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif wanted to make Faisalabad a model city.
He said the first step in this direction was proper disposal of solid waste. MNA Rana Afzal Khan said the FSWMC would provide services of international standards. He said sanitation workers would be provided the latest machinery to improve the conditions.
