MULTAN: The Anti-terrorist court in District Dera Ghazi Khan acquitted three alleged terrorists connected with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) due to a lack of evidence against them.
The ATC on Wednesday headed by Justice Chaudhry Munir Butt ruled that the alleged militants be released in the absence of any substantial proof against them.
No witnesses appeared during the court proceedings.
The three militants were identified as Muhammad Ismail, Muhammad Naeem and Ghulam Mustafa Qaiserani. They had been arrested from the sub-district Taunsa whereas Qaari Obaidullah from North Waziristan was declared a squander and has been termed a proclaimed offender.
