FAISALABAD: “Technical education is the best chance against unemployment,” Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) Vice Chancellor Zakir Hussain said on Friday.
He was chairing a meeting regarding the feasibility of launching first degree programmes including bachelors of science in eastern medicines and surgery.
The vice chancellor said GCUF wanted to introduce new disciplines for students.
He said skilled and committed teachers played a vital role in producing manpower with command over their respective fields.
Terming the youth future builders of the country, he called for steps for their character building. Registrar Muhammad Ayub, Dean Naureen Aziz Qurieshi, Dean Pervez Azeem, Medical Sciences Director Riaz Hussain, Haq Nawaz, Muhammad Zubair, HR Director Shiekh Akram, Nighat Bhatti, Zafar Ahmad, Zubair Siddique, Treasurer Ghalam Nabi, Umair Arshad Bajwa, Hadayat Rasool and others were present at the meeting.
