Radical changes have been made to the Lahore General Hospital to provide better services to patients, said PGMI Principal Anjum Habib Vohra while addressing a meeting on Sunday.
He said absentee officials at the hospital would not be spared. He said safety of patients was hospital’s top priority. He said the hospital had been partitioned into several zones for efficient management and advised the nursing staff to treat patients with respect. Vohra said Works Department officials needed to perform their duties properly or else they would be fired.
Speaking about the emergency services at the hospital, Vohra said the emergency ward was a sensitive area. He said medical representatives would not be allowed there.
