FAISALABAD:

More than 100 Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf supporters staged a demonstration on Sunday to protest the denial of party tickets to Faizullah Kamoka and Sarwar Kisana.

Kamoka and Kisana have filed their nomination papers for NA-83 and NA-79, respectively.

The protesters gathered in front of the Faisalabad Press Club and chanted slogans in favour of the two candidates.

They regretted the non-allocation to the two candidates and urged PTI Chairman Imran Khan to reconsider the decision.

Some of the protesters said they would leave the party if the two were not given Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf tickets.

Muhammad Naseer, one of the protestors, alleged that tickets had not been allotted on merit.

He claimed that Kamoka and Kisana had more chances of winning from these constituencies.

The PTI tickets for NA-83 and NA-79 have been allotted to Farrukh Habib and Khalid Abdullah Ghazi, respectively.
